While invitations and prints are my bread and butter, commercial and organizational projects are some of my favorites. Below, you'll see how some of my clients and I have worked together to help them achieve their branding goals.

NORA LOUISE BOUTIQUE
BAY CITY, MI

Project
Logo and Small Business Branding

Goal
modern, feminine branding for an online boutique specializing in custom pieces

It was such a joy to work with Nora Louise Boutique's owner, Kayla. She wanted an inviting, modern logo for her emerging business making custom gifts and branding that would carry over to an online clothing boutique. Through precise font, accent, and color selections, we were able to do just that.

DOUG FOR MICHIGAN
CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN

GRAND RAPIDS, MI

Project

Logo

Goal:

memorable branding and bold logo for a United States congressional campaign

I've known Doug since our college days, so I was over the moon to create his congressional logo and brand palette. He wanted something patriotic, but representative of his district, and he wanted to do something that didn't look like every other political logo. By using different variations of the same font and unique subtle details, we created a modern, bold look for Doug's campaign.

LOCK & ROLL

OUTDOOR STORAGE FACILITY

ALGER, MI

Project

Logo, Small Business Branding, & Website

Goal

illustrative, versatile logo for an outdoor storage facility

This project was especially fun for me, as it was for a family member. The owner wanted a logo that would illustrate the business, so by adding a primary graphic and a few subtle details, we were able to provide a basic idea of the business, even before heading to the site.

THE BIER GARTEN

BAY CITY, MI

Project

Restaurant T-Shirt Design

Goal

stylized tagline and graphic for a local bar and restaurant

Megan and Ben, the owners of The Bier Garten and Cafe One 3 (and truly some of the best humans I know) strive for their businesses to be warm, approachable, and anything but boring. They wanted their designs to reflect that. Their vision made my job easy and we landed on a design that translated well to any format.
